After lengthy (and heated) discussion, the EoS stance is this: We support nero in his transformation from warrior to merchant. After all, that is what the EoS charter is about. A disturbing event occured during the Empire's own beginning resulting in a 'Baptism of Fire' because of this precise Corporate Stance. nero is a friend of mine. He was the only one of Dadds' minions to hunt me successfully (kudos to him for that), but war is war and the past is just that, the past. And, EoS is Allied with SPQRN. So, this discussion has become moot. Can you at least see where we are coming from on this? I personally don't think an apology is to much to ask for. |

It's not Jam, but you have to make the effort to ask him for that in the game personally. He's not going to see your post and I'm not going to make demands of him to appease a foreign power.
You are asking less than what Raph demanded and if I were Nero I would be more than willing to apologize, but every New Roman Senator is his/her own person. His membership should not reflect poorly on the reputation of the corp as a whole when the matter is between individuals.

I still need to message SirEmi and have him unblock Jake for me. At this moment it is impossible for me to message him in the game. I don't see it is outrageous though for him to check the forum though. Checking the game forum is something more people need to do anyways. If he had started to do it sooner perhaps we wouldn't even be in this mess to begin with. He might have seen for himself just how far gone Dadds was.

In the case of why that war broke out it became a big deal. Simply because the cause of the war could be seen on the forum. Had he had an account there he would have seen how far gone Dadds was. Instead he just listened and believed what Dadds told him and that got him into this mess. All i want is for him to be held accountable for his actions and to issue an apology. I have asked SirEmi to unlock him for me but I am not sure how long that will take. I wish we could manage our own block list. BTW I am talking to Joolz on gtalk. He might be willing to accept an apology as well as long as it is a good real sincere apology. Nothing that comes off fake.

Are you willing to apologize in the same way you are asking Nero? That would mean an apology from you to all you attacked (outside of declared war). Present company included and make it sound sincere.

You do understand this is different then actually raiding? He supported an actual war. I might be willing to issue an apology for some of my past actions. But at the present those I set my timers to hit have plenty of time to get out of their. My purpose is to get a response. If they reply their active. If they don't reply they are inactive and their stuff needs to be removed anyways. But this isn't an apology for simply conducting attacks. This is an apology for supporting the betrayal of both ITO and TGE. ITO deserves the apology a lot more then we do. After we left the GC all we had going with IMG was a NAP. I wasn't friends with Jake. Dadds is the one who betrayed our friendship. This is probably why I don't feel near as strong about this as Joolz does. Jake supported turning on official allies of IMG. ITO deserves a big apology for that. As soon as SirEmi unblocks him I plan on sending Jake a message and I will try to discuss this matter with him. Though perhaps the one he should be discussing it with is Joolz himself. Jake could have message him to try too make things right much sooner. I understand it would be harder for him to get a hold of me. But instead of getting a hold of Joolz, he decides to go to someone else. I think perhaps Joolz might even feel a bit insulted because of that.

I worry that you are being too nice. Anyways fact is there is unfinished business between us and Jake. Whether Joolz comes around or not, I want an apology to both TGE and ITO. I really feel they deserve one. It needs to be public too. As soon as I am able to get him unblocked I will be PMing him in the game to discuss this. I am not going to make any unreasonable demands and I don't expect him to send either of us any sort of financial compensation. This isn't about what little was lost in the war. Honestly it is really a good thing we got the UC formed when we did. With how angry I was over this initially I likely would have started a conflict that wouldn't have been good for any of us. I don't think any of us want war. To be honest, I don't even care much about hits against Jake anymore. I just want him to be held accountable for his actions and to issue that apology. Simple as that.

Nero sent you a message trying to apologize. But I guess you haven't received it. You should ask Emi to look for that if you don't get it when he becomes unblocked

SirEmi wouldn't be able to find it. The message won't even send when someone is blocked. The next time you go to send a regular message that is blank the text just shows up on that one instead. I discovered that when Dadds blocked me. Also I want a public apology to both TGE and ITO. Not a private one.

In the case of ITO, they were officially allies in the dead GC. Something EoS was not. It is your business if you don't want to hold him accountable for his actions. But I for one believe he needs to be. I also would like an apology. But I care more about ITO getting one then getting one for TGE. If I can manage both then so be. So far I haven't heard anything back from SirEmi on unblocking Jake.
