Candidates have been thrown around for a while and the United Corporations isn't bad, however I for one would like the name to not resemble RL governing bodies, or police forces etc. and also to differentiate from the original Galactic Council.
So Ambassador Rostin has given us the Confederation of Corporations, and Galactic Leaders Summit.
I think it should emphasize the community, and partnership aspects/goals of the alliance rather than political or military alliances as some names would suggest.
So one from me would be Cosmic Coalition of Corporations. But coalitions can be militant to so maybe Cosmic Partnership of Corporations(CPC)? I don't know if those have the proper 'ring' to them but that's the sort of cooperative sentiment I'd like it to reflect.

The thing is with Federation or Confederation is it would imply we are more close knit then we really are. This is more of a coalition. As for a Summit. A summit is a meeting of people. Not an organization. Here is another idea I had.
Corporations United
Ok that one ain't that great. It is just another one I had. The hard part is finding a good name. Does anyone else have any ideas? Cosmic Coalition seems decent. Galactic Coalition would be another decent name.

I think that while I like Galactic stuff (Galactus anyone?) the GC kinda makes galactic anything sound like a wannabe even though I think we all want it to not be the GC

let us table the bloody name at this time, it is not that important.
instead let us declare what we mean to be and not what we want to be named (we can always name ourselves later - I kinda like 'The Fools on the Hill')...
